Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple

The Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi is one of the most sacred Hindu shrines, dedicated to Lord Shiva and housing a revered Jyotirlinga. A key pilgrimage site, it symbolizes spiritual liberation, with its present structure built by Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar in 1780. The temple, recently expanded through the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor project, attracts millions of devotees seeking spiritual blessings and moksha (liberation).

Namo Ghat

Namo Ghat, a newly developed landmark in Varanasi, is a modern riverfront destination along the Ganges River. It features grand sculptures of folded hands ("Namaste" gestures), symbolizing India's tradition of welcoming guests with respect. Designed as a serene and aesthetically pleasing space, Namo Ghat blends spirituality with contemporary architecture, making it a popular spot for visitors, meditation, and picturesque views of the sacred river.

Dashashwamedh Ghat

Dashashwamedh Ghat is one of the most iconic and vibrant ghats in Varanasi, located near the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. According to legend, it was created by Lord Brahma, who performed a ritual involving ten horses (Dashashwamedh Yajna) here. The ghat is famous for the Ganga Aarti, a mesmerizing evening ceremony where priests perform synchronized rituals with fire lamps, chanting mantras. Thousands of devotees and tourists gather here daily to witness this spiritual spectacle and soak in the divine atmosphere.

Sarnath Temple

Sarnath Temple, located near Varanasi, is a significant Buddhist site where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon after enlightenment. The complex features the Dhamek Stupa, Mulagandha Kuti Vihar, and the Ashoka Pillar, symbolizing India's heritage. It is a serene destination attracting pilgrims and history enthusiasts from around the world.

Ramnagar Fort

Ramnagar Fort, built in the 17th century by Maharaja Balwant Singh, is a majestic sandstone fortress on the eastern bank of the Ganges River in Varanasi. It houses a museum displaying royal artifacts, vintage weapons, and an ancient astronomical clock. The fort’s grand architecture and scenic riverside location make it a popular historical attraction.
